When I was 6 years old my cousin (now a professional artist), asked me if I liked to draw. I responded “yes” but “I can’t seem to stay within the lines”. He assured me that this was perfectly “OK” and thus began my lifelong journey of Impressionism painting.

I paint primarily en plain aire, traveling throughout Europe, Norway, Iceland and the Southwest part of the United States, as well as the local parts of northern New Jersey.

I started my professional career as a Fashion Illustrator, having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and later received a BS from Georgia Southern University. I worked in New York for 15 years for various Department Stores and Newspapers before devoting myself full time to painting.

I am a member of the Oil Painters of America, Master Impressionist Society, American Impressionist Society, the Art Association at Roxbury and The New Jersey En Plein Air Painters. I have received many awards from the various shows that I have participated in as well as painting competitions such as the Easton Plain Air Competition.
